i couldn't be more excited/nervous/anxious/overwhelmed about my christmas present from evan. he got me a Canon Rebel T2i. i've been wanting to get into photography for a long time now, and i could never cough up the courage to buy a fancy new camera. so... now that i have one... what do i do with it??

congratulations on your new toy! i bought my camera in november of 2010, and it has been one of the best things i have ever done. i am still learning so much every day, and that is part of the amazing journey that is becoming a photographer! i hope that you love every minute with it - just remember, its impossible to know all that a professional has learned in years in a short amount of time, and eventually everything will make a lot more sense than it will now :) congratulations again! im looking forward to following your blog!
